why am i being asked to verify my bank account details when ive been using paypal for years???

Ive been  using paypal for ages and now im being asked to verify my acct so paypal can make 2 deposits etc etc like i did when i first signed up! Thing is its not my bank acct its my mums which i must have used when i first opened my paypal acct and now I cant change it. Its extremely annoying as i have ebay things to pay for!!! Can anyone help?

It sounds like we need you to confirm the bank account, if we are requesting this then it must not have been completed in the past.

You can add your own bank details and confirm them which will verify your PayPal account.

i am having the same problem but paypal wont take any ammount from my bank it says it is but comes up with an error so im stuck with a useless paypal account which i will shut down if it is not fixed within 24 hours as i have plenty of christmas shopping to do and cant sit and wait for some numpty at a computer to say "oh i made a mistake" and ruin my childrens christmas. as you can tell im a little annoyed as i have been a paypal user from the very beggining. fix the issues people!
