trying to purchase but keeps deferring to credit card back up instead of bank account

Hi, ive been rting for  a few days to make purchases using ebay, however it keeps defaulting to my credit card and not my bank account which i want it to use. Any ideas why?

I hope you get a reply as I keep getting exactly the same problem and now there is the added insult of telling me the card is now being rejected.

The card is a debit card for exactly the same account and there is money in there.

I have just bought similar items to those that I tried to purchase on eBay from Amazon and my debit card payment sailed through without a problem.

Paypal are losing business if they don't sort out their new problems with the paypal payments on checkout.

Maybe someone will answer your question now that they can see others have the same problem.
