If your withdrawals are pending it could be that they are being screened by our Internal Security System to confirm that everything is okay with them. Once they have passed this then the status will change from ‘pending’ to ‘complete’ and they will appear in your bank account 2 to 3 working days after.
I have had funds on hold for ages, Paypal have asked for verification of posting, I have sent this, nothing!!!

Well it sounds like your issue is that you are receiving eBay holds on your payments when you receive. We occasionally delay the release of payments for eBay transactions to ensure that your buyer is satisfied with a purchase
These holds will last for 21 days but your funds will be released within 24 hours from when one of the following occurs:
• The buyer leaves you positive feedback • 21 days pass without a dispute, claim, chargeback, or reversal being filed on the transaction • You provide a tracking number which shows that the item has been delivered over 3 days ago
I wholly agree - I added a bank account (one which I want to use to keep track of my Holiday Cottage rental payments - which don't get paid until they are actually in the Cottage)
They are never in the Cottage for more than a week (average) if paypal wait 21 days to see if they are satisfied with the "product" - though this is a service - it is natuaral they will say they are not and therefor get a free Holiday!!!!
I went through the verification to add the additrional bank account - now they (paypal) show it as "pending"
this company is using MY and YOUR money for their own ends - in the UK this would be a criminal offence
I have changed the payment method, for my Holiday rental income, from PayPal directly into my bank Account (I will also be contacting my 3rd party agents, who oversee the rental of my property AND thousands of others, to refrain from using PayPal as a means to forward on rental income to their clients) - no longer will PayPal be able to manipulate MY money for their own "dubious" means.
We are "only" talking about £116 in this instance - but extrapolate that throughout paypal users and the extent of the potential malpractice by paypal becomes apparent
I suggest of escrow or holding funds through paypal switch to direct payments into their bank Account - IT IS YOUR MONEY - NOT PAYPALS
