Verification of bank details

Hi 

I am trying to verify my bank details that are already in the systemm, however  it appears that I may alreday have a direct debit set up to pay a company I do not recognise . I have previously made payments via my credit card & now wish to use my bank account to prevent further charges .

Can anyone advise do I have to cancel my bank account and add it again ?

If So I don't know  if I have done this before &  I think you can only do this 3 times .

Can anyone help please ???

Hi there Spottie32,

All you need to do to remove your bank account from PayPal is go to Profile and then My Money. From here, you can then click Update beside bank accounts in order to remove your bank account.

Once you have removed your bank account, you will be able to register your bank account again in order to initiate the verification process on your bank account registered to PayPal.

Hi,

I'm trying to sell an item but its come up saying i need to link my bank account to paypal. MY bank account is already linked, its the same account i've used for a while now to buy and sell through paypal so i dont know what the problem is. When i try and click verify account it takes me to an 'add a bank account' page but i dont need to add a bank account, i only have the one account which is already linked to paypal....help!
