Unable to verify my credit card

I've been using the same card (Which I previously verified) for a couple of years, until today.  

I'm currently unable to use my visa debit card as paypal cannot verify the card.  Ive checked with my bank - there are funds, the card has not been refused or blocked, there are no attacks on my account.  In fact Ive just used my card elsewhere so its nothing in the back end transaction between gateway to Visa.  So it must be somehtign at PayPal.

The website offers for me to go through the verification process but fails with 'Unable to confirm card details'.  I cannot re-register the card so I am now stuck and need some help, please ?

Hi Net16, 

It sounds like you may have reached the sending limit on your account. When you have reached this limit you must verify your PayPal account. 

We only ask you for essential information when you sign up to PayPal, but as you transact with us, we're under a legal obligation to know more information about you. Once you get verified, you can send and receive amounts beyond initial limits that were in place on your account.

To get verified, log in to your account and click the 'Unverified' link on your Account Overview page. There are 3 steps to getting verified:

1. Add your UK bank account.
2. Submit Direct Debit Instruction.
3. Confirm bank account.

Hi Paula,

I am unable to verify paypal account using my RCBC MyWallet Visa debit card. Everytime I correctly enter the information needed and hit CONTINUE button, I received an error message saying, "The Credit Card Verification System used by PayPal is currently unavailable. Please try to add your credit card at a later time. We apologize for this inconvenience." What is needed to be done, in order to resolve this issue and verify my account?

I get the same error as ronavi but mine is not RCBC MyWallet card but a regular visa card.

This is becoming a pain. Please help. It's been months and STILL not able to verify my card so I can get my funds out of Paypal.

Initially I want to withdraw funds using a Savings Account but couldn't and I read somewhere that my Paypal account needs to be verified first using a credit card before I can withdraw funds using my Savings Account. Now that I'm trying to verify my account using my VISA credit card, I'm still getting an error. Help please!

well I have same problem I can't verify my credit card even through a couple of months ago I use it to buy things through PayPal now I can't verify it.I mention that the name on my account isn't the same as credit card but before I didn't have any problems using it.the thing is I will receive some money on PayPal and how will I withdraw it if I can't verify credit card?
