I have never experienced any problems with my PayPal account when purchasing from eBay until now. For some reason when I go to pay via PayPal it allows me to log in and when I try to click the 'continue' button on the next page to confirm the payment, it then takes me to another page which says there was an error and this cannot be actioned and to try again or contact them? I have tried it a few times now and still getting the same message. Can anyone help?
i'm having same problem, tried ringing customer services but after listening to some awful music for 23 minutes i hung up......i just hope sellers realise it's not our fault that we can't send payment
Hello,i am having the same problems,have used paypal for 10 years and have never had this problem,Dont phone them they will keep you on the phone waiting for at least 20mins only option is to e-mail them or if not WATCHDOG....
Wonder if its paypal as im also trying to pay for some items and its keeps saying contact customer support ????? cant do that as im in Egypt at the moment xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Having exact same problem, I paid for an item this morning no problem, only now i can't pay for another item, keeps taking me to the same error page. Over 30 minutes on two occasions to paypal support listening to classical music. Surely they could record a quick message telling us there's a problem or send bulk messages to our ebay account. Awful support.
I can confirm that there was indeed a known technical error for all customers checking out on eBay on Saturday the 14th of May which was resolved that evening.
