Paypal Account frozen

I tried to refund an e-bay buyer in Germany but my bank (account set up for over 10 years with Pay Pal) disputed my direct debit for this refund as a result Paypal removed the bank account from my paypal account i can now no longer action the account. My own bank say everthing is in order and there is no reason for this.

Anyone had this issue before?

Any help appreciated.

Hi Davidl33,

If your bank have rejected a payment that you have attempted, it could result in your bank account being disabled from your PayPal account. The reason for this is due to the bank sometimes cancelling the direct debit that is in place.

If you have tried to register your bank account again and you are being advised that the bank account has been disabled for entry on the PayPal system, you can contact customer services and we can reset it for you.
