Joint Account verification

Hi folks I'm having trouble verifying my account , this seems to be caused by the bank account being linked to my wifes PayPal account.I read elsewhere that you need to de-select your bank account and you will be able to print a paper copy Direct Debit which you must post . If you can't verify the account how can you remove it to enable printing of the paper copy ?.

Didn't understand the second part of your post. You cannot add a bank account to any other paypal account if it has already been associated with a previous one, even if you have removed it from that previous one.

Sorry for any confusion , our Joint Bank account is linked to my wife's PayPal / Ebay account .Now I have been asked to verify my PayPa / Ebayl account by linking my bank account , ie the joint account,which is being used by another ( my wife) .

A moderator had a posting about removing the existing bank account and you gain access to a printable Direct Debit form , I cannot remove a bank account that isn't linked.Does this mean that she has to remove it from her PayPal account , then we both sign the paper Direct Debit and post it in.Fialing that do I just scrub my account on PayPal / Ebay and use hers from now on .
