The flat number and building name are optional but the building number isn't? By building number do they mean house number? And what is a street number? Everytime I try and complete I get the dreaded error message. Anyone else having similar issues.

Use your house number in the building number section. Also when you enter your post code use capitals only and leave a space between the first 3 or 4 digits and the last 3. This should work for you.
