I have opened a second paypal account, mainly because my ex wife has access to the first account as it is set up with her email address, but it is using my bank account as the linked account. I am trying to link my bank account to the new account and i kept getting an error. I contacted Paypal who state that i cannot use the same bank account for both accounts (god knows why not - how stupid is that). Paypal is far too inflexible and starting to get on my nerves. I do have a second mainly inactive account that i can put funds into when required, but here is the issue. when i try to link it to my new Paypal account i STILL get an error.
"We were unable to process your bank account registration at this time. We apologise for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date."
Without contacting Paypal again as it is a painful process, anybody got any ideas? the other bank account was used a long time ago on the original Paypal account but has long since been removed.
