I don't print out those labels either. I do them by hand. It's easier for me to take it to the post office and do it from there anyway. I don't own a special scale.
Get the PayPal debit card and you will be able to withdraw your money, spend it at the store, or use it online where your PayPal balance may not be accepted. Transfer it into your bank account. Whatever. There are great options that you may fail to recognize here.

favre4,

Just a suggestion but you might want to download the free USPS shipping assistant where you can print the lable with or with out without postage--which is what I always do--the reason being is that delivery confirmation is free.  You can post the tracking number to the sale on Paypal and take the package to the post office where they will  weigh it and put the right postage on the package.  You will be saving a dollar, have a tracking number and pay the right postage price.  I too agree about the debit card--have had mine since I joined and use that for paying postage. I have been released from the hold but I have not been active lately either.  Check it out though.

Who else is tired of being bullied by Ebay?

I just found out I can't buy or sell through my PayPal until I get "registered", by that they decided I must give them my personal bank account number, when a credit card backup was just fine for years, the other option was to sign up for PayPal's 19-26% credit card.

When did a valid credit card through MasterCharge become unacceptable? When they see you have purchased and bought at least $10,000 dollars that's when! They lick their chops when that figure pops up.

When I hit that number, which I have worked very hard to keep over 900 purchases and sales at 100% positive feedback. Guess that's not what they care about, they all of a sudden closed my access to PayPal when I had $83.00 left in my account and owed them nothing-zero!

No way to get the $83.00 out, only through a check mailed out within the next two weeks to me from PayPal.

I have had a PayPal debit card for three years with no problems, suddenly it's no good. I couldn't use it to access my account either.

I for one am totally fed up with Ebay and am leaving for good. Their bullying stops today with me anyway. I can't wait for another competitor to show these guys how to treat us with respect. Craigslist here I come.

I have been with eBay since 2002 and been sick of it since 2003. I am an 803 with 100% and I can't Qualify for a nickles worth of sellers discounts.  I have been doing Great on www.gunbrokers.com.. Look it up and see what they have to offer.  It's not just Guns, There is an Archery section, Land Sales and Leases. Cars & Trucks, Antiques--etc.etc.  What's the difference ? I sold a Bow on eBay for $250.00--- Ebay got  $8.50 and PayPal got over $9.00.

I sold an item on Gunbrokers for $275.00 and it cost me $7.50 final value fee and 25 cents to run the auction. For 25 cents you can run the auction until it sells before you pay any fees. Payment comes a little slower with Gunbrokers, but it's all yours when it gets there. Also, there is none of this Socialist crap where you cant sell this or that because it could be dangerous. A Frozen Turd could be dangerous !!

Lastly, some one before me said something about the gross fees charged by eBay and PayPal-----What makes me Mad is that we pay for the auction pages--but what do you see ??? Flashing ad's for some product that ebay collects money for--on the Pages that You and I have Paid for already. It really ditracts the buyers from our items !! NOT very fair in my book.

 I gotta' find something better------BYE !!

What I think is hilarious is they keep pretending to refund the money, but even when they say you have a paypal balance, it disappears, but is not used on any other product.  Where does it go?  The banks never see the deposit.  I'm turning them into the Better Business Bureau this week, if they don't prove any money refunded was not reused on another purchase or given back to my bank, which so far they have only done correctly  twice.

Write a complaint agains Paypal and Ebay to the Better Business Bureau because what they are doing is not legal.

Hi:  My balance in reserve account disappeared and I called Paypal.  they told me that they are having computer problem and should be able to fix it in a couple of days.   It is not fixed yet.  Is this what  happened to you?

Because Ebay has such large exposure,  it is still a good venue for us. However,  Paypal holding our money for 60 days in reserve account should be illegal.  I will write to Small Business Bureau.   Have you received your reserve money back?    Please let me.

Paypal is a JOKE!!! As a small business owner in America I get reemed with every transaction...and have to shell out over $10 for each transaction. Then they lose my money, claim they have to put a trace on it and that takes up to 72 hrs, meanwhile it's been over two weeks since the money was suppose to be processed, and now I am having to wait another week to obtain the payment when and if they can locate it. Once I get my money, to **bleep** with paypal. They can take their business and shove it. I am going to someone else...someone that is not full of greed and has people in another country answering the phones, that barely speak english and DO NOT know what they are doing. Just goes to show...paypal is just another one of the large American companies that don't care about their own country...but wrapped up in greed.

I had a circumstance where ebay cancelled an auction I had won and told me not to pay for the auction. When they do this, the auction is removed from ebay and, hence, from my "Won" auctions in My Ebay. Unfortunately, I had already paid for the auction, so I opened a dispute within Paypal. That got cancelled by PayPal shortly thereafter because the seller had provided proof that the item, allegedly a new, unopened OEM copy of Windows XP w/SP3, had been shipped. Just as a side note, the location in the auction gave a ZIP code of 11xxx, USA (I couldn't remember the whole zip because the auction had been removed!). As it turned out, the seller was from Shanghai, China and the software was shipped from there. I did finally receive the software and it did indeed look to be authentic. It loaded on a computer I had built without issue using the key that came with the O.S. However, when I went out to Microsoft Windows Update, as I usually do with a new install, I got a notice back from Microsoft that the key used for install was not an authentic key provided by Microsoft. After notifying PayPal of this, they did allow me to open up a new dispute, but then I got an email with what I had to do to get my money back. I had to send the software back to the seller in the condition it was received. First off, how do you do that when the software was sealed when I got it?!? Secondly, because the seller was actually located in China, and not the USA as stated in the auction, and I had to provide proof of delivery to PayPal, it was going to cost me approximately $20 to ship to China, when the software only cost me $35 originally! Also, PayPal states that it does not guarantee full reimbursement, so if they did not fully reimburse me, there was a chance I may only break even or even end up in the negative! With this in mind, I just went ahead and cancelled the whole thing. And, of course, PayPal doesn't make it easy to express your displeasure with their dispute process. I will not be depending on either ebay's or PayPal's dispute process. This whole thing has "FRAUD" written all over it and they would do nothing!! So much for their "PROTECTION"!! As a side note: wouldn't you know it, but the seller is no longer a registered ebay seller/buyer!!!  When I sell off the balance of the items I want to get rid off, it will be "GOOD RIDDANCE" to ebay!!!

Thanks for the Gunbrokers.com tip, I've been a member since 1998 and I believe that Ebay is almost worthless nowadays, Its hard to make a buck with all of their fees.
