refund given but no balance

I made two purhcases from different websites and both of them were out of stock of their product. I asked both for a refund. I have received one refund BUT how do I get my money? Where does it go? I have paypal funds sent to my checking account will the money go directly there? I am worried and I still haven't received a refund from the other store.

If you paid using your PayPal account funds, then the Refund will issue the funds back into your PayPal funds balance.  If you paid using a credit card, then you will receive the credit on your credit card.

If the funds go to your PayPal account balance, you can then choose to initiate a transfer to your linked bank account.

If the other person does not refund, then dispute that particual transaction in the Resolution Center:
