e-check fund

I made a payment to my friend with E-Check funding, but we cancelled that transaction immidiately (receiver refunded the payment to me) because it costs too long.

But my bank account was charged for same amount few days later (it shows "Paypal E-check").

Since the receiver already refund, he cannot get the money anymore right?

But I didn't see the money / fund reflect at my paypal account balance. (my account balance is zero so far)

So where did the money go???

Will paypal refund it to me?

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE NOW. THE MONEY WAS TAKEN OUT EVEN WHEN THE E-CHECK WAS CANCELLED. Do  I GET THE MONEY BACK AND HOW LONG???
