I already do not trust this persion as I have receved bootleg items in plce of the name brand items and there request of "What is the your paypal email so that I can send you the refund?" sits wrong with me. Is this a normal buisness practice or are they phishing for my info?

Sounds technically wrong. If the original transaction was via eBay, the seller already has your email address for the refund and should not have any issues initiating the refund action.

The transaction was done on e-bay. I have used ebay a little over the years and never had to deal with a refund in the past, so to an extend I am kinda lost on on how it is supposed to work and my searches of the Q&A did not give me my answers which is why I asked here 😉 I figure its either a noob question or something is wrong on a basic level. And I do not want to be wrong on a basic level with my personal information to a sight that has accesses to my funds.
