We received 2 offers.
The first offer was $10 off any purchase of $10 or more from any merchant that accepts Paypal.
The second offer was for $100 off any purchase of $100 or more, but it specified that we had to purchase from Ebay.
I called BML and was told that the reason that Bill Me Later did not show as an option during checkout when making purchases on Ebay, is because that merchant wasn't an authorized Bill Me Later merchant.
Apparently only a small number of Ebay sellers (most likely buy and other diamond sellers) are authorized BML sellers. IF you are attempting to make a purchase from a seller who has not been authorized by Ebay as one of the special select few BML merchants, then you will not be given BML as an option during checkout.
This was just explained to me by a BML rep.
Ok, that's fine. I'm going to shop until I find whatever I can find that I can get for free, and never use BML as a buyer again. Ever.

What a scam! I did the same thing....purchased a more expensive Iphone thinking I would be able to get the $100.00 off...and then ended up having to pay the full amount when BML wasn't being shown.
I read the BML offer over and over and over before deciding to take the deal and nothing was said about select merchants on EBAY.
I'm going to do the same thing as ThursdayGirl!

I too was having trouble not getting the Bill Me Later as a funding option, trying to make a purchase with Paypal as a payment option at some online merchants. I spoke with a CSR at Bill Me Later and was told that with Bill Me Later recently becoming part of Paypal, having BML as a funding option is only available to a select number of customers at this time.
They are in the process of integrating both the Paypal and BML systems and are gradually making it available with what they can handle. The CSR told me that customers that are selected for having BML available as a funding option through Paypal are receiving a special email informing them of that. If you have not received this email, you will not have access to BML as a funding option through Paypal. once again, eventually it will be open to all, but for now only the people who have received the special email from Paypal/BML will have BML as a funding option.

That is the problem - WE DID receive pre-approval for the Bill Me Later option WITH a $100.00 off our first purchase.
So it should have been easy to access - not taking days to get an answer from PayPal, uneducated people on the other end of the phone at PayPal, Bill Me Later and Ebay....

They've got big problems then, they should have waited until they had all their systems integrated before rolling this feature out. Sounds like they got more testing to due before all the kinks are worked out. Good luck
