Subscription Notification Email

Subscription Notification is not available!!!!  REALLY NEED THIS FEATURE ... 

Customers' fund are take out by PayPal without a prior notification via email!!! 

PayPal need to notify subscribers 5 days or so prior of taking out money from the account!!! 

We have been using PayPal Subscription on our site for 3 years and we keep getting numerous complains all three year in a row!!!

Please let me know when you will start sending out notification emails???  Have asked for this feature 6 times already.  Is this ever going to be available???

You may have to build something on your site. I had to keep a database of subcriptions and run a daily chron job to email people in advance.

I agree 100% with Sashok00.

The complaints on our own site hovers around 25%. I understand that people who sign up for recurring payments on other sites don't holler for notice, but for our users -- they do.

You need to use PayPal's IPN feature.   Check it out.

I agree that a notification email would be very helpful.  Even further, I would like to be able to customize it; I work for a small NPO, and I'd like to send a  thank you with a summary of our activities each time a donor makes an automatic payment.

Skier, I briefly looked at the IPN page, but I'm afraid it's way over my head. I'm not a developer, and our small organization does not have the means of hiring one.  Can you provide any instruction on how to set up a (very) simple mechanism to send notification email?
