Refund notification?

I requested for a refund on a product and got an email from them saying it will take 2 days for them to process the refund. Well, its already been about a week and I still haven't got any sort of refund notification from paypal. Does this mean the company I ordered my product from hasn't issued my refund yet? Or is this a problem on PalPals part?

 

By the way, this product was bought back in February but due to the sellers poor communication, its been taking this long just to contact them to get a refund.
