Apparently paypal allows anyone to rip you off and then they charge you for the priveledge. I had a buyer purchase a louis vuitton purse from me on ebay. the buyer then proceeded to leave positive feedback and keep the purse for 2 months during the holiday season. Now almost 3 months later she decided she doesnt want the purse (which was listed with a no return policy). so she makes up some BS excuse and sends it back to my house, how do I even know she sent the real one or a fake one back?). Paypal then refunds her money to the tune of $350 without so much as a single opportunity for me to dispute the claim.
Here is my advice to all Ebay users. Buy whatever you want no matter the warranty or return policy, be it clothing, jewelery, cars, whatever you want. Just be sure to pay for it through paypal and you can return it anytime, even months later, with no return policy, even after the buyer provides a listing with positive feedback response and tracking information proving the item was received by you. If this is how EBAY and PAYPAL are going to treat sellers with 1000's of 100% positive feedback then what is the point in doing business with them anymore? I for one will not.

This can happen to you. all that money you work so hard to make selling on EBAY for paypal will take it and give it back to anyone with a half **bleep** excuse and you will never even be able to dispute it. Even if you have a no return policy, the buyer leaves positive feedback, and keeps the item for three months after the purchase.

THEY ALSO SIDE WITH BUYERS ON NO RECIEPT DISPUTES.
DO NOT COUNT ON A TRACKING NUMBER EITHER.
Had a buyer file a not received dispute. The guy bid 521.32 on the item and after I shipped it he said two weeks later that he had not received it. USPS confirmed the delivery. Buyer said he never singed for anything so he never got it. PayPal sided with this jerk and gave him his money back. Now he has the item and his money returned to him. PayPal's policies are a joke if this kind of thing can happen. If you have confirmation of delivery then it was delivered. BEWARE selling high cost items on Ebay there are thieves out there that PayPal will let them get away with whatever they want to. PalPal has no regard for the seller (it is not their money and items they are losing). IT IS NOT TRUE THAT THE SELLER IS PROTECTED AND PAYPAL SHOULD MAKE THAT CLEAR FROM THE START.

She could not possibly have started a claim after 45 days - something else is going on here.

You are so right CHAOSINC paypal does whatever they want. They do not honor time limits. They like to look at who is making the most money for them and they win. Sellers have no protection either.

I deal with UPS at work and even if a delivery states it was delivered or even signed for - it may not be to the buyer.
We see this alot. We pay to have traces done and usually we end up replacing these items as UPS gets out of it for various reasons.
Paypal is nornally strict ob the 45 day issue. Is there somethign else going on or for a special reason as to why they allowed this?

I got ripped off by paypal three years ago, and now this past week, ebay and paypal have allowed an old computer that I listed as no warranty, No refund, and No return.....guess what.....yeb, it is on its way back to me.....dumbass in Atlanta did not like it.....what the **bleep** does NO return mean anymore. Someone ought to take ebay and/or paypal to small claims court and make a real person show up instead of always going through the "community".

"No Return" has meant "seller did not read the Paypal rules" for 4 years now.
Where have you been?

I paid for a item, my bank account had a problem with my account. Paypal claimed they paid the seller which put me in the negative. I found out that the seller did not get paid HE SENT ME ALL TRANSACTIONS (EMAIL) and he did not get paid so I used my other account to pay him I NEEDED THE MERCHANDISE. Paypal calls and herasses me to pay them 155.95 for a payment they did not send. Now I am out 155.95 and have no merchantdise!!!!!!!
