Has anybody considered that if all of us take the time to file complaints with our attorney generals against PayPal for this payment extortion program they've implemented, they may have to back off, at least amend their unfair and brutal policies?  The positive is, that no doubt, some disgruntled paypal/ebay former employee will be making a service avaialble to compete with this ridiculous corporate fascist monopoly.  I have a list of 127 ebay friends, all of whom are in the process of filing attorney general complaints/disputes.  If everybody who is being blackmailed by paypal has 127 ebay connections willing to do the same....it will bring about fair change.

hello,i totally agree with your sentiments. i am waiting 21 days for lack of buyer feedback.now i have been told---

wait another 2 days then receive a max of 500 this month and the balance next month. i have requested feedback from my buyer repeatedly. i am not being offered interest on my held balance. additionally it will take 3-4 days for payment to reach my bank after a funds release..i have made my sentiments known to paypal-e bay. i will seek other alternatives to selling from here on. this is not seller friendly policy ! as to atty general pursuits,only if they are in need of an election issue,think the diddler spitzer and morganthau and the other wacko in ct.whats his name. he leads all opposition if elections were held today.  wake up ebay and rein in your golden goose--PLEASE !

I just posted on this topic and am horrified to hear of your ordeal, I don't want this to happen to me when I have done nothing wrong and have the feedback to prove it, nor do I fall in a high risk seller category.  Let's do something about this and yes Paypal should pay us intrest on the money they hold and they should not hold non-refundable shipping fees charged to the buyer.  I think they are looking for reasons to hold peoples money to possibly earn intrest themselves and get more in the business of banking and lending, they want to build up their reserves.  This policy the forced on me without Just Cause is criminal, what we all need to do is complain to the proper agencies.

Check out Limited Pressing dot com      While the exposure that ebay gets-that is if you're selling records, cds, memorabilia, etc....what a fantastic site, and incredibly well run.  Given time they will take a huge bite out of ebay's profits, which I'm all for, 100%.  I now view ebay and paypal as hostile toward consumers.  Don't sell reporting to your attorney general short.  I did it, and while all I got was a response from them that it was being looked into, I was reinstated by paypal with a meager apology that my criteria was incorrectly judged.  They **bleep**, **bleep**, **bleep**.

Thanks, I'll look in to the site you suggested for records and memorabillia.  The letter to the Attorney General is on the way and Quite frankly I've been sick of Ebay and Paypal and I'm looking forward to some great minds coming together and creating some competion for them.   When the person out there does, let me know and I'll be one of the first to check it out.

Be patient with Limited Pressing.  They are building on a fantastic concept and offer (free right now) stores for anybody wishing to open one. But look for some of the bigger independent labels to start posting there, and for some pretty savvy sellers putting up rare and cool stuff.  Records sold by collectors rather than the ebay majority who don't know their s h i t from shinola.  PayPal puts bleeps where there are cuss words. Very mature.  GEMM is a world better than ebay, too.

I now have fallen victim to this unfair practice Ebay is doing, Just found out 2 days ago.  I sell items on Ebay, no electronics, have 100% positive feedback, my last buyer praised me for fast shipping as others have in the past, I don't sell tickets, don't have complaints and have been on Ebay since 2007.  I called and complained to customer service and got nowhere, so Paypal is going to hold my non refundable shipping fees charged to ship the items, they are planning to hold my funds without Just Cause, yes I'm filing a complaint with the Atty. General and will find other agencies to do so.  I could understand if I did soemething wrong, but that's not the case here.   Are they collecting intrest on funds being held? are they planning to get in to the lending business? something isn't right, and now I'm reading where other business people are having problems with this.

Anyone like me being unfairly sanctioned should step forward and complain to consumer agnecies.  Paypal should also be paying us intrest on the money the hold
