From Now On I Am Not Going To Ship Items If Funds Are On Hold.

Because the shipping costs are included in the funds.  If I have no access to the funds cause of the hold, then I have no access to the money the buyer pays for shipping.

I completely agree with you Liv......ex: I sold a almost new $400 cell phone with ALL the accessories on eBay for $174.99,  shipping was $13.95. The winning bid came from Brazil (which i had posted US only). I agreed after checking his feedback which was 99.8%.  Paypal then held the $187.94......I had to ship the item ou of my pocket. (Another $14) I was told insurance and DC wasnt available because it was going out of country.  All I received was a customs number (which was just a bunch of number and letters of apparently no value).  The funds were supposed to be release on Dec 31st, but the buyer then opened a dispute on Dec 28th (like he knew I was about to get access to the money).  He claimed to have never received the item.  The item magically disappeared and I am out a $400 phone with nothing to show for it and the $187 got refunded to him (even though I had the proof it had been shipped and accepted at the post office), and the $14 s/h.  So thats a total of $199.94 that I will never see.....but rest assured the guy PROMISED to send me the money if the item ever reaches its destination! LOL, yea ok...........hmmmm, wonder where that phone went, let's remember that when you go through customs you have to declare WHAT is in the package and it is then tagged ON THE PACKAGE.   I had proof, he did not....fair?

The **bleep** if Im selling on there crooked corrupt site anymore! Accept to list a penny item and inform everyone of their theiving ways.. They can have the listing and selling fees...They keep them anyways.

Ill join some class action suit.  It irritates the **bleep** out of me when someone says all you have to do is call them and give them a tracking number. Most of us ship out via paypal -the tracking number is listed in Paypal when i open my account there it is under the last shipment. Why do i have to call up and give them what is already on record. Second of all, I insured for the total amount of 226.88 and now when i look at the tracking it says they insured for 200.00. That is not what i selected when i shipped/paid. **bleep** is anyone sick of trying to be an honest seller while Paypal/Ebay just reem you up th a$$!!!!??? How come I dont even see the option when i do my auctions anymore where you can select check or money order, how do you go about doing that, I dont even see where they give me that option?

I would post right on Your listing: I only accept Checks/ Money orders in Bold letters as a form of payment and if You cant comply do not bid..

Wow! I just shipped out two days ago on an auction that ended two days ago. I left a message to the buyer about the new policy on holding funds and if they are happy, to please leave me positive feedback quickly to release funds. Paypal released the funds today right after delivery, maybe they are improving?

They are still holding my funds!!! Nothing has changed, just count your lucky stars if you got your money in 2 days, they must have overlooked something, but it's good to hear anyway, good for you!
