Hello All,

After submitting a payment back on the 10th of Jan 2010.  I had not recieved the item I purchased. 

I submitted a claim here today since I had no sooner to file one due to the fact that immediately left the US 2 days after submitting my payment  to goto CUBA supporting the relief effort for HAITI.  I was there for the next 2 and a half months.  I tried to call the seller, however was not able to get in touch just a full voicemailbox.

I had virtually no way to contact him until I discovered upon returning to the US whether the item was shipped to me.

Now after Googling the seller, whom I have not been able to contact I realize after searching a the local online paper for Obituaries, etc.  What I discovered is that this person is now in jail some 17 days after the fact I made my payment now this person is awaiting release for illegally selling hub caps online.

Can Paypal help?

At this point no.  You may have a chance to file a chargeback but your time is quickly running out.  General rule of thumb is always deal within your own borders.

Hope you didn't buy a hubcap from them.

If you're too late for Paypal and you used a credit card to pay, file a chargeback with the CC by phoning the number on the back of the card.
