O.K. I plan to buy a You Tube Account from somebody. I want to send payment to the party first ... in order to show them that I'm honest and for real. But, is there any way that the payment can be sent ..yet put on Hold until that person gives me the password and login info. THEN after I receive the info. for the account.. I can take off the HOLD so that this particular person can have 100% access to his money? Is this possible to do? If anyone know the answer to this ...please let me know!
P.S. I just want to make sure that I don't get ripped off, since obviously I don't know the other person.
Thanks

You are referring to an escrow but PayPal does not offer this feature. You may want to google a list of escrow providers. Understand there is a fee associated but the fee is worth it in a transaction like this.

The buyer protection plan doesn't cover virtual items like a You-tube account, by the way.

So basicly this type of transaction would be risky to execute via Pay Pal! Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Cash on delivery after inspection.
IDK what value a You-tube account would be anyway, AND I would have a lawyer go over the You-tube User Agreement to see if an account CAN be sold or transferred - in most cases, the accounts can't.

Unfortunately there are no features or options to do what you have in mind.

Thanks skier ... for your input, and for caring. I pretty much know what to now anyways. Everyone's comments are much appreciated.
