Button takes user to log into their "my account" section not the item

I have multiple buy now buttons on my website that are not working correctly.  I created drop down buttons so they can select a day and time to attend a group.  When they click on the link it asks them to log in and takes them to their "my account" page and not to purchase the item.  Even if they go back to the website and click on the link it does the same thing.  What am I doing wrong?  Here is a link so you can test what is going on http://www.lightpreneur.com/index.php/component/content/article/102-group-coaching.html    I am using Joomla so I don't know if it is trying to "fix" the code or what.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Joomla is a different animal and your best best bet for help is the Joomla forum.

From what I can see on your web page, your PayPal item button form has no opening or beginning Form Tag.  The basic PayPal item button code is simply an HTML Form and must have a beginning Form Tag and a closing Form Tag.  As for how this works with Joomla is what you need to research.

where you able to insert the buy now button correctly? I had trouble inserting it in the virtue mart product description, but what I did is that I created a new article and inserted the full html paypal gives. And it works, once clicked it redirects the customer to the paypal secure page.

If you still have issues with this pm me!

best of luck,
