Refund issued to buyer however buyer has not received this on their card

Hi 

 

I recently sold an item  the buyer had already paid but wanted it sent 1st class instead of the listed 2nd class post.  I issued a full refund via PayPal. I then found out that I could no longer send then an invoice for amended postage as payment has already been made. So I sent them a PayPal invoice which was duly paid and item sent. Great!

Today I get a message from the buyer that they have not received refunded amount on their card.  Is there a delay for refunds to show up on credit/debit cards?

A refund back to a card could take up to 7 working days, ccard maybe a little longer
