paypal holds on 'new' ebayer sellers payments, i'm not a new ebayer, just a new account. I used to share with my sister but then wanted to sell so created my own, on ebay it says you can prove you're not a new ebayer if i provide my old accounts details and can confirm all the feedback is positive no cases etc, which i did so but paypal denied it and has continued to hold my payments. i don't personally have a problem with paypal holding payments til good feedback is recieved, i think thats a good idea, but what happens when people just aren't leaving you feedback? even when you've messaged them, you have to wait 21 days! phoned up paypal 4 or 5 times to ask them, and nothing. can't access my money. paypal are not helpful and just waste time on my 20p per minute call.

Hi there I-hen,
If you have opened a new eBay account, this would automatically place the new seller holds on your payments when they are received in to your account.
I realise that it can be frustrating for you when people don't leave you feedback when they have received the item from you. Another option is to have the item posted using a recorded delivery method and we can release the payment once the item has been delivered at least three days ago.
Another thing that you could do is to contact customer services and provide us with the other eBay user id and we can investigate it further on your behalf. Once we can see that there is a selling activity on the other eBay account, we can then have the holds removed from your new eBay account.
I hope this helps,
David.
