Completed – Funds not yet available

Hi

I have been with paypal and ebay for a long time now, Selling here and there and buying here and there. I have 100% feedback score with 154 items.

Yesterday 3 people purchased 3 different items, I log in to my paypal today and it say's for 2 of the items. "Completed - Funds not yet available" It goes on to say  "Estimated funds availabillity 1st Jan 1970" for both payments. The other payment went through successfully.

1 of the buyers has just made their account on the 14th July 1960 and has a feedback score of 0.

The other buyer has been a member of ebayer since the 6th Jan 2015 and has a feedback score of 99.4% over 240 items.

I'm thinking the person with the 0 feedback score is pretty much a scam, Not too sure on the other person.

Any advice on this on what I should do next etc?

Thanks

So I have done some small research on the matter, and regarding the statement below there is something I don't understand.

This is the 1st time a payment has been pending, I have sold 15 items in total ranging from £10 - £700 with all 100% feedback dating from as far back as July 2011. The transactions in question are for £60.00 and £20.00, So why make these transactions pending and not the past ones?

I really don't understand, I just need to know am I safe to send the items? As long as I provide suffecient proof that I sent the parcel to the address stated I shouldn't be scammed in any sort of way should I?

Statement

We may place your incoming payments from sales on eBay into your pending balance. This is more likely for new or inexperienced sellers.

We’ve been dealing with online payments for years and we’ve realised that this helps to prevents losses, by keeping your money secure. It also makes buyers feel safer and more likely to return and purchase again.

Typically, you’ll have access to these pending payments after:

  1. 7 calendar days of the estimated delivery date, if you mark the item as sent in your eBay account, or
  2. 21 calendar days, if you don’t mark the item as sent in your eBay account

These payments are less likely to be placed into your pending balance once:

  • 90 days have passed since your first successful sale on eBay, and
  • You’ve received £165 from sales on eBay, and
  • You’ve had 25 sales on eBay
