i cant link my debit card HELP!!!!!

When I tried to add my card to my account, it said "The bank that issued your card didn't approve this transaction. Please contact the card issuer.s customer service department if you have any questions. Or you can add a different card now to continue." I put all my information in correctly and it didn't work. I feel like it doesn't work because I just activated the card today, but I am posting just to make sure.

Yes could well be that, give it a few days and then add it and if still a problem contact your card issuer as advised.
Advice is voluntary.
