Refunded and item still paying fees apalling customer service

Ive had a paypal acct for years! This is the first time Ive had a problem and the last! I sold a phone! they buyer tried to return it through ebay and the case was found in may favour! Not happy he returned the phone and Ebay advised me accordindly! He then took a case out with paypal. I spoke to a very rude and unhelpful staff member who treated me as if Id stolen this guys money! I was quiet taken back tbh. Ive deal with ppl all my life so her arrigance and rudeness I wasnt expecting! She told me to just sell it again as I wouldnt be out of pocket!!! She told me to check the phone, get back to her and the case wouldnt be closed till id checked the phone and called her back! I rang Ebay as Id followed their instructions and explained how rude and obnioxous this women was with me! staggering really! I was told the case was closed and the buyer had been refunded! Id had a death that day and Ive been seriously ill infact ive facing a major opertion in the new year! Holding on the line! for 20/45 minutes each time is no fun! Ive been polite to these ppl but no more! I was staggered I was lied to! addinf insult to injury! They still didnt deduct my fees! I decided to just leave it, having septis a hole in an organ and multiple lung infections I could do with out the stress!

But Ive decided I wont use paypal again in this way! I had tried to get through a few times this week as I still owen a balance of 25.00 inclusing the near 6.00 fees! I spoke to (Post edited by Moderator) who seemed ok at first! He told me he could do nothing! for me and that I had to pay the fees! as I lost the case! The case is always closed in the buyers favour and that I have to appeal! Wow! I thought how appalling! I asked if I could speak to a manager! NO! was the reply! I asked if he could take down my plight and forward my complaint, NO! Said Id have to ring back and said the department I wanted was closed! The fact id waited 40 minutes to get through! He refused to give me his managers name! And to be honest my pet hate is ppl talking over me or down to me! His comment was this is Paypal not Ebay as if I was half baked! To be honest I did lose my temper, having got 4 management quals, trained and managed too many staff I dont expect or would hope that staff would be so rude! Its clear he didnt want to help or get involved! Then started telling me what the other orginal women said to me! Amazing!!! as he wasnt on the call! Patronising, wasnt the word then accused me of patronising him but he got the wrong word!!! Sadly, if your staff are going to try and talk down to your customers I suggest when they use big words they understand what they actually mean! To add insult to injury I was charged for the call! Nice scam paypal has! Ive spoken to two staff members out of two! Admittedly (posted edited by Moderator) in Newcastle wasnt as rude and the first women i spoke to! 

Id like my nearly 6.00 refunded and I will pay the balance off! Im not paying a fee for money I havent got. The buyer has been restricted on Ebay for trying to circumvent and break Ebay rules! But it seems being honest isnt the best policy!

If my health was in full and I wasnt facing a major operation I have a lung infection now! I would fight this as of the condition the phone was returned in! But my health to me is more important! But I will never sell another item through paypal. This was my first and only transaction! Ive always purchased! In all the years \Ive had a paypal acct! I find your customer service rude and appalling if that is the way you treat your customers! Ill stick with barclaycard! 

They seem more civilised rather than abusive! I was rather shocked at the aggressive, umhelpful, manner of your staff. Maybe you dont need the business! You certainly wont be getting mine! I have a number of stuff I wish to sell on ebay but payment wont be through paypal. 

Although i totally believe in being honest, I dont believe in being ripped off!

Id like my fees refunded. I will pay the balance owing. But I wont be using your services regarding selling again! Their seems to be no protection for the seller! And this one I dealt with knew the ropes!
