Can you use the card reader when abroad?

My current provider has stopped supporting this option and

I have to revert to paper voucher when on the Continent

Thanks for this questions. I am afraid; the card reader cannot be used while traveling internationally. You can only use PayPal Here within the country where your PayPal account is registered.
