Hi I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy tablet and to my surprise I found that there was no app for it from PayPal. Will there ever be an app for tablets? Very disappointing when I found out.

Hi everyone,

At the moment we do not have a PayPal app for android tablets. It is definelty something we are looking in to.

I understand that it can be inconvenient and please be assured that your feedback has not gone un-noticed. Any  feedback we receive is passed on to the relevant teams.

Thanks

Paula

I'd add a vote for a tablet app for PayPal here. Much easier to use a tablet, better to show customers etc.

Mines got better internet too, can we have a timeline or I'm going to have to use izettle or something!

Nice one!

Hi Sidetrack,

Thank you for adding your vote, I have sent this feedback on. I am afraid that we don’t have a time frame yet :(. I would advise to follow us on Facebook or twitter so that if we do expand the PayPal app you will be kept informed. We would always let these things know on Social Media.

I've noticed there is still no PayPal app for tablets. It's still blocked from installing on Google Play Store/

Hi I have just visited the following page

https://www.apkmonk.com/download-app/com.paypal.android.p2pmobile/4_com.paypal.android.p2pmobile_201...

Downloaded the apk file to my laptop then copied it to my ASUS memo pad 8 where I clicked and installed it it seems to work OK !!

Hope this helps people

I use Go Payment and PayPal Here at shows and events. PayPal Here works great with iPad Air, but could not download on new Note Pro 12.2!!! I like that PayPal Here funds my account in minutes whereas the others take a day or three! The loss here is on PayPal's part, I go right on taking payments, but PayPal gets no percentage of sales by not making ap compatible with Android tablets! Please do so?

Hi ENS,

Thank you for taking the time to post and I am glad to hear that you like PayPal Here :).

We are working on the fact that we do not have this option for all devices and it is indeed like you said our loss :(. We don’t have  a release date for this yet but I would advise to follow us on Facebook or on Twitter so that if we do release the app for androids you are informed straight away.

I hope we will have good news soon for you.

Actual Paypal Here does work...

You just have to install it manual using the APK.

Paypal itself tho still does not work..

I've been having trouble accessing PayPal for several months. Tonight, after jumping through hoops in order to access what I assumed by all intents and purposes to basicly be an online bank account, I find my account looks more like a social media site (?), at which point my pc's cpu began running at an explosive rate 100% plus, and my browser froze. Fed up, I went on a search to find an alternative device to access my account online. The only thing close to being affordable was an Android Tablet. I felt relieved to at least find an option. After doing a little more research I find this? Paypal doesn't allow customers with Android Tablets to access their own accounts either? This is beyond an inconvenience. It's an impossible impass, which indicates that PayPal doesn't really care if people can use their "online banking account", which is obviously counterproductive to it's purpose, isn't it? If you don't want us to use PayPal, then I guess we won't. If I can't use it, how can I?
