Hi

I feel a bit daft here but maybe someone can help.

My husband and I booked off site airport parking through a company we have used before. They have just gone over to PayPal.  We have been having a LOT of internet problems and multiple payments went out of my account.  I’ve contacted the seller immediately with the details. He asked for us to text the. We have done this three further times. I raised a dispute which PayPal have closed saying that my account hasn’t been used in an unauthorised fashion and closed the dispute.  When we dropped the car off last week, I took in print outs of the transactions and left them for him.   We picked up our car last night and I still haven’t had the refund.  Any advice on what I can do please? I have emailed him.  I can’t log a dispute or escalate it as the system won’t let me. Thanks

Filing an unauthorised payment is telling paypal that your paypal account has been hacked and used without your consent.

As your account was not hacked then the dispute would be closed.

You should have filed disputes for 'non receipt of item' selecting the 'services' option and then you would have probably had your refund.

If the seller won't refund you then you have 2 options.

1. Small claims court.

2. If you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will help you.

Good luck.
