I received damaged goods, which I have returned (and the seller has received), but I supplied paypay with an incorrect (by one digit) tracking number.
Now I know the seller has got the damaged goods, but I don't know if paypal know and I'm unable to get in to the case file to alter the tracking number.
Do I actually need to do this?
How long should a refund take?
Should I, or paypal be chasing this?

For a refund to be issued the tracking number has to show the item as delivered back to the seller when paypal check that number online before you get a refund, if it does not then you may not get your refund.
Your best bet is to call customer services to correct the tracking number >>
Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top. Log in and get the code.
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".
In the UK its free from any landline phone.
