Cannot change my primary email address

I cannot change my email address because it is my primary. On my computer I cannot change it. I spoke to the customer service by phone but could not understand the Indian lady who I spoke to. I am 85 year old and a little hard of hearing why don't they put a English person on the phones so I can understand them. What do I do next to change my email details?

Me too! I am going round in circles trying to change my primary address and there seems to be no resolution!!!

In general, to change your primary email address you should add a new address before removing the old one. Once you have added your primary address you should confirm it and set it as primary. After completing this passages, you should be able to remove the old primary email address.
