Trying to request money - can't type in the amount

Hi

I going mad here in the UK.  I am simply trying to request money from an email address.  When I do so it asks me to put in the email address to request the money from then it goes to a page where is shows 0.00 so it seems it is asking me to put in the amount but I cannot change the 0.00 to anything.  I just type anything here - the 0.00 remains.  I cannot delete it, nor change it.

Can anyone help please?

Just did a pretend 'request' and no problem.

When you click on send / request you then have to imput the email address, did you do that first?

Then you enter the amount, just type in what you want, you don't need to delete the 0.00 first.
