Since September of 2017 a seller has scammed me by giving me a knockoff item and not giving me a refund on ebay. I wasn't aware of ebay's policies because it was my first time encountering a situation like this so I didn't know what to do. Ebay told me to get in touch with the seller so that's what I did instead of opening a case for my item which I did not know about. So unfortunately, I waited too long to open up a return and ebay can no longer help me get my money back and the seller isn't responding. Twice I got in touch with customer service and they told me to contact PayPal to help me with my refund. However, back when I made this purchase, I did not have a PayPal account/make the payment with PayPal. I was wondering if PayPal will still be able to help me a get refund for the item and return shipping despite not having paid through PayPal? And if not does anybody have any advice to get my refund because I just want my money back. Please help. Thanks.
