Money sent to BC not yet arrived after 5 days

Hello,

on 14 October 2017 I sent money from my PP account to my bank account but until nowno money arrived on my bank account. PP marked the payment status as completed. I visit my ban and they told my they can't see any income bookings from PP to my account. Normally it takes 2 days but right I don't know what I can do PP says they sent the money and my bank says they don't see any  money comming from PP. PP also says it takes up to 2-4 days but now I'm waiting the whole week already.

hello there im exacly having the same issue, i xfer money too from PP to bank oct 14 until now im not getting anything huhuhuh

but who's fault is it ? PP or the bank? Nobody want be in charge for this issue. Did you contact PP already

yes i did, here's what they said,  usually take 5-7 business days to complete (not including weekends and holidays) or earlier depending on your bank institute. Our records indicate that the status of this transaction is "Completed" which means that it has completed through our system only. PayPal has no control over the length of time it takes your bank to post their credits, and we do not receive confirmation when your credit has been received by your bank.-------Usually if there is a problem with the transfer completing, it is rejected back to PayPal and the funds are reversed back into the PayPal account.We have not received anything from the bank so far,indication that the transaction is still in good standing.If this funds still does not post on your bank by the 7th business day,send us an email the following day or call us at Go to https://www.paypal.com/help and click "Call Us", so that we can create a withdrawal trace for you to locate your fund

thanks you for this info. Means we need to wait another few days. Im asking myself if they saying like this only to get more time the customer keeps quiete 🙂

Hello. I called PayPal just now. There's a very long hold queue time. I spoke to a rep named Alvin. I explained to him the issue happened and informed him that I'm not the one who experienced this issue. I told him that we are around 40 or maybe more. I told him that this might be a PayPal glitch. He said that there was no glitch happened on those days and he said that the transaction was completed without any issues. He told me that the earliest time I should get the funds is in 2-4 business days and the maximum time is 5-7 business days. He told me that if the money will not be posted on my account on Oct 25th, I can call them or send them an email so that they can process a trace request. A trace request is for PayPal to communicate in my bank in order for them to trace the funds. And then I asked him why is this happening, it's my first time to encounter this issue? He said that it has nothing to do with them. He told me that normally the process is that they are transferring the funds to the "Processing Bank of the Philippines (Central Bank)" and then this processing bank will transfer the funds to our local bank(UnionBank, BPI, BDO..etc). That's how the process works. He asked me if there were any holidays in the Philippines. I said none, but there's a "Nationwide Transport Strike where school and government work is suspended last week. He said that might be one of the reason.

 

Ugh!!! This is so frustrating!!! So for us who withdraw last October 14, let's wait and see if the money will be posted on Wednesday-Oct.25. Hopefully, yes... But if not, another dilemma. We will need to contact them again the next day-Oct.26 to file that "Trace Request".

 

This is so stressful!!!.

BDO told me they was not bokking any money at the Nationwide Transport Strike but my friend sents his money via PayPal on 15th and got it on 17th in his BDO account. It seems BDO was working there and I think other banks too. I believe, the issue is here: Central Bank!

Yeah, that's what the Rep told me. That could be the reason. I think our money is still on the Central Bank of the Philippines. Is there a way to contact them? Or, maybe let's just wait.
