iTunes hacked...course of action?

Woke up on this fine Memorial Day holiday to the tune of 7 emails from my PayPal account that I had authorized transactions to the iTunes store for 7 deifferent transactions between $40-$50 each, so they total between $300-$350. After some investigating, all of the transactions were made for Asian Music, Video Games, Skype, etc, and the date of the purchase is 7-8 hours in the future (can only assume time difference from here to Asia, I know it's not ACTUALLY in the future :))

So I have called Apple, but they are closed for the holiday. I did have my PayPal account linked to iTunes, but have never had any problems with my iTunes acccount being hacked before. So they won't be able to do anything until tomorrow at the earliest. Can I dispute the claims through Paypal? I have already cancelled my PayPal link to iTunes.

And even though it has nothing to do with this, some dude hit my car Saturday at an intersection because he didn't want to stop for an ambulance. Relevant? No. Just letting everyone know the kind of week I'm having!

Tack on another person to the count. I got charged 5 payments of $50 a piece. I opened a dispute for each one and contacted my bank. My bank reversed the charges and the overdraft fees and froze my account for 3 days (security precaution to prevent more charges from occurring while they investigate). All of this happened on 8/27/10. So far I am still waiting for Paypal to respond. I contacted iTunes and they responded back saying all sales are final and then sent me a link to the EULA (but not before disabling my account). I am hoping that paypal will be able to kill the transactions and get my account back on track. Does anyone know if there is a way to setup preventative measures besides changing passwords on a regular basis? I really want to keep paypal, but this is the 3rd time charges have popped up that I never authorized.

So my itunes account got hacked yesterday. 09/09/10

Was for around 200$ worth of charges. This is the first time in my life I've ever had virtual theft. I'm worried how paypal will handle the disputes. My paypal account was only connected to my bank account for instant purchases and credit card for back up.. If the charges were on a credit card Im sure a reverse would be a non issue.

Took paypal and creditcards off itunes immediately.. This really is crap, I'm not even in the USA anymore so i have to pay outrageous international fees to talk to my bank, paypal and apple.  ugh

Happened to me too, I'm disputing every single charge but have to wait for the investigation to finish (between 7-10 days) and in the mean time I'm broke.

I'm hoping for paypal to remedy this situation but Ive already spoken to my lawyer.

Paypal reversed the payments made to ITunes.

Waiting on my refund now.
