Is this a scam buyer? Paypal newbie here.

Sorry if this question has been answered many times but I just need to know asap & I dont know anyone who i could ask for.

I received an email from someone in UK wanting to buy may EBAY item. Problem is my Paypal is still unverified without a credit card. But he said its ok unless i have a bank account linked to my Paypal so i linked it. Then he asked for my full name & email adress which I used for Paypal.

Then a couple of days I recieved a email from him saying that he already payed or deposited to Paypal but the amount is not showing to my Paypal account. Is that how it should be? If you're Paypal account is still unverified the incoming payments will not appear untill the buyer or Paypal approves of it? How shall I know if a have some kind of incoming money to be recieved?

Yes it's a scam. First off the man is giving you an address in Nigeria! That's not the UK! He wanted your name and information so they can try and milk money out of your accounts. Or try to lure you intro accepting money that is bogus or stolen. All in exchange for you sending them the cash as they need it. In the long run you get left with the debt and the arrest.  Time to change all your information. Or at least keep your eyes open on your accounts.

Are there ways to verify his Paypal account & how to know if have a pending money to be recieve?
