I  placed an order with Linkchina 8 days ago. I was promised 3-7 days delivery.  Tracking shows the order has been in Beijing for the last 2 days. I think I am being scammed  Has anyone else ordered from them? I e-mail the seller, and he says I will receive order in 2-3 days.

LINKCHINA.COM,  IS A SCAM.   I ordered  Titleist  Prov1 golf balls. They are cheap imitations.  I ordered a Taylormade R7 driver. It is a cheap imitation.  PayPal released my payment before I received goods, and they did nothing after I filed a dispute.  Pay pal is a punk.  I thought they were supposed to stop payment if goods were not what they were supposed to be. Not so!  They settled my dispute with an email, to me that said I was happy with the outcome. Huh? Where did they get that idea.

Is linkchina.com a scam or not?

I have dealt with them 3 times now. Two out of three times no problem at all. The last time there was a problem in that the supplier seemed to be unable to supply the article ordered. I followed the guidance given by Linkchina and did not deal with the supplier directly other than to confirm actions by me, and ensured that  Link china were kept informed at all times. In the end the supplier confirmed he was unable to supply for a number of reasons and offered a full refund. I confirmed to Linkchina and the supplier  that I wanted a refund, the refund was paid in full  into my Paypal account in hours. So it seems that the best advise I can give is to ensure that Linkchina deal with the supplier on your behalf in the event of a problem and that all agreements are made through their lines of communication.  Also DO NOT AGREE to pass the deposited  payment you have made to  Linkchina  to the supplier until you have the goods in your possession and are happy with them. I cannot advise on the outcome if the goods are not up to your expected standard. My view is that if you expect to  pay $50.00 for a Rolex or Breitling watch you are probably not getting the real article. Just read the decriptions carefully and think about it before commiting yourself, I have not been scammed yet.

That's a bad idea - you have no idea if linkbadger is telling the truth.

LinkChina likely sells counterfeit items - stay away.

I was giving my opinion, rightly or wrongly it is based on my experience with Link China. As I said before if you see a low price for an article which normaly has a a very high price you must assume it is probably a copy. To be fair some of the agents on this site do described the items they are selling as " high copies" but not all. As an example, there  are some blackberry phones on the site, just do a comparison between them for yourself and read some of the descriptions and you will see what  I mean. My advise is as before, be careful and be sensible, don't expect to pay peanuts for something that is normally high cost where you are. If you are not sure then the answer is don't not buy, nobody is forcing you to, its your decision.

I'm saying that you have all of 2 posts on this forum, both of them on this dicussion and you could be a plant from LinkChina that uses a Google 'bot to search the internet for forum comments and then masquerades as a disintersted party to encorage people to use the site.

We've had someone pull that stunt before on a thread about another Chinese site that was selling counterfeits.

Your advice is therefore suspect.

It seems that we have a circular argument here, what ever I say is dismissed with some theory that I am either lying or some kind of bot/plant or some other mysterious cunning darstadly Chinese plot to encourage gullible westerners to buy from Linkchina. Your are to clever for me Mr.. Bond, I will have to leave my hideaway in mid Wales and return to Beijing or maybe Tonapandy.

To repeat again, my dealings with Linkchina have to date been fine, 2 purchases and one refund without any problems and I will probably purchase again in the future.  As I said before if its very cheap, then its probably a copy. If its unbranded it could also be a copy of a similar make. The Chinese as far as I'm aware produce a lot of goods for a lot of companies world wide. So you might well be buying a Chinese of own brand version of similar products. If it's a generic unbranded MP3 player for £20 and it does the job, where's the problem? There's a lot of similar stuff on sale in the UK at the moment.

Just consider this, if a well known UK company  produces Christmas puddings for Tesco and Harrods in the same plant on different weeks (this has happened)  is the company counterfeiting Christmas puddings or are Tesco and Harrods just simply  out sourcing. By the way the Tesco pud beat Harrods pud that  particular year.

Just be careful with what you buy, don't expect to buy a £300 UK price item for £50 including postage, ask yourself this question,  is every thing on E-Bay 100% genuine?

Repetition does not increase the likelihood that the information is accurate.
