Same item sold twice

I had an item that I sold, but the buyer returned it.  I gave them a full refund.  Then I resold the same item a couple of weeks later.  Paypal charged me twice for selling the item, and did not refund my selling price when I returned the full payment from the return.  I've talked to them twice.  The last time I had to wait on the phone line for over an hour to talk to someone about it, and they promised to refund the money from the first transaction within 24 hours.  It's about a month later, and I still haven't gotten a refund.  Any ideas of how to get Paypal's attention to refund my money?

If you used the PayPal "Issue Refund" link which is on the payment's Transaction Details Page, your PayPal fees will be refunded.

Login to your PayPal account, click on the "History" tab and then click on the "All activity (with balance)" option. This will show your running PayPal account balance (in the right hand column) after each transaction and should make it easier for you to see if your PayPal fees for that payment were refunded.
