Hey,

Plz read this and shed some light on it if u could.

I sent a payment for an item yesterday.it showed as completed in my account but seller was sayin its on hold and his account limited. Cud that be true?? What does limited mean.

After that, I opened a dispute with the transaction in resolution centre, but I was taken straight to the escalation option, stating the seller cannot respond at this time. Why is that shown. What does that mean actually. Normally you have to wait few days before u get option to escalate?

Then it was shown that PayPal would try to recover the money as much as possible. I don't understand that. Isn't PayPal supposed to refund the entire amount under buyer protection. I was under the impression that PayPal always could recover the money entirely. I am worried now.

Please advise if u have the info. Thnx

It's possible, if the seller's account is limited by PayPal, his or her account is basically useless until the issue is resolved.

Wat are the reasons for being limited? Does that mean he dint get the money till now?

Is it easier to get my refund, that means? Or not?

I have opened a dispute immediately, wud that affect in any way positive or negative?
