I've just seen I've been charged by a company called easy news on my paypa, saying I have authorised this. It also says I've been billed since 2014 with around £240 worth of charges. Ive never heard of this company and do not know how they have gained access to my paypal and are charging me. Any help? Thanks

Double check your subscriptions >>

Paypal summary page > profile (spanner looking icon next to log out) > bottom right paypal settings > pre-approved payments.

Easy news is on there along with another company that took almost £200 in 2013. Easy news have offered me nearly £20 refund but still owe me £200+

Then you must have taken out a subscription with them and not cancelled it.

So the payment was unauthorised as it was on your regular paypal automatic payments.

You need to cancel the subscription.

The company don't really owe you anything as you have been authorising the payments automatically via paypal subscriptions. So i would accept their goodwill offer of the 20.
