I just had one of the worst customer experiences of my life with Paypal.    I had a transaction denied and lost out on an item I had found at a great price.   None of the reasons they gave me for the denial were valid or correct and my balance was ovee 100X the transaction amount.  I showed them what was wrong with each of their points.   I wanted a $10 credit due to their error.   I spent  1 hr and 15 minutes and they kept trying to tell me that it was all my fault.   I thought at first it was a vendor problem and vendor was closed.  Paypal never notified me of any problem  and nothing was shown online.    The attitude was unbelieveable; they played games like keeping me on hold for long periods hoping I would hang up.   I am a faily big user of the business debit card and I was treated like dirt.   special blame goes to supervisor (post edited by Moderator) who hung up on me rather than transfer me to a superior.
