Unidentified payment taken from bank account

Hi, 

i checked my bank this morning and a direct debit payment has been taken by PayPal.

this transaction does not show in my list of PayPal transactions, how can I trace it to check its validity? No purchase I have made corresponds to this amount. Do PayPal take selling fees periodically or monthly? 

I have sold only 2 items this year for approx £140 and the fee transaction is almost £60. 

Please can can someone clarify?

also does anyone have a contact number to speak to a human about these issues?

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top. Log in and get the code.
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".
In the UK its free from any landline phone.
