scrap that, i just found another email in my Junk mail folder
We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favour.
You have indicated that a partial refund of 25.99 GBP would be satisfactory.
We were able to recover 7.19 GBP, and this amount has been credited to you.
Please allow 5 working days for this adjustment to be posted.
If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.
If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.
I bought something from ebay, i asked the seller if he could upgrade the delivery from Economy Delivery to next day as i was going to switzerland, i asked how much the P+P was with the upgrade and he said it was free if i bought the item that day
so i paid £25.99 + £1.20 P+P
when it arrived, it wasnt working properly, but i was going to switzerland early the next morning, i informed the seller, he offered me a refund, i declined as i thought it wouldnt impact the working conditions, when i got to switzerland i had the opportunity to test a proper working device and there was a big difference, when i got back, i informed the seller that i was returning it as faulty within the 14 days return policy he had
he accepted and refunded me £20, minus £7.19 for charges he incurred from the next day delivery, i refunded him the £20 and opened a case with the Resolution Centre, saying he sent me £20 and i had refunded it, he said he had sent me £20 and i had refunded it as well,
i stated the £7.19 was a bit steep and all i wanted was the £25.99 back, so i left paypal to do their thing, the case was closed today and i had beem refunded £7.19, i thought paypal would of read the 2 statements and noticed that it should of been £25.99 and i had already refunded the £20
question is how do i get the £20 back? which the seller is probably laughing at since he refunded less than he originally anticipated
thanks
