Dispute closed and I still have no refund???

I started a dispute over an item that I brought through a website. I tried to contact the seller with no joy. I also left them multiple messages through PayPal and got no response I checked my emails to find that PayPal have closed the dispute. I mean what more can I do apart from get on a plane to China and kick this guys **bleep**?

The item that I was sent is complete rubbish and not what the website was advertising. I purchased the same thing from a UK based web site and the new unit was  plugged in and worked fine. So the item from China has to go back.

I have been on their website and instant chatted to their "support" who just go offline.

I feel that this is it now and I can't get my money back. PayPal wanted proof of postage of the returned item but despite my best attempts I could not get an address to send the item back due to no contact with the seller so I can't send the item back to China yet.

Where do I go from here?

Sorry but pointless posting a transaction id as we are not customer services but if you clicked on the transaction then was the sellers address on that ''details page''.

If not the paypal should have supplied an address as its ridiculous to close a dispute when you can't do as they asked.

Why not phone customer services and appeal it??

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".

Failing that your best bet is if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and do a chargeback.
