Hello, I was bidding on a pair of 'designer' shoes on ebay. The seller asked that we complete the sale through Paypal, cutting out ebay, he then messaged me twice to ask that I send the money as a 'gift' luckily I didn't as when the shoes arrived they are very clearly fakes. I have opened a dispute with Paypal a few days ago, and the seller has not responded, ironically he was quick to respond before I have transferred him any money. Should I escalate the claim to paypal or give him more time to reply? Its only been a few days but I'm finding this quite stressful as I have been cheated and they were not the cheapest shoes
