i bought a supposed to be original nokia n8 mobile phone and seller sent me a fake one. I asked for your protection and not only do you leave me with a product thas has violated international trademarks and copyrights,you deny refund and you leave seller do his scam. i sent you detailled pictures of parcel that was delivered to me. with all signs of violation of intellectual property trademarks and copyrights.You ask me to send you more documents.Paypal by it's tacticts seems to protect trade of fake poor immitation products sold as original. Paypal knows about it can't do nothing about it, instead they buy time asking you for fotos documents and faxes (hold on to your chair i have already send over 20 photos actually i have sent a photo that phone has not an hdmi port nowhere as the original. and they keep asking me for additional photos that i gladly sent them). instead, i do not now if it is original email or not... they ask me to turn myself in the police department like a criminal i i must proove to them that this particular item was sent to me on that day at that time etc. and all that because they cannot protect me.WHY DO I PAY YOU GENTLEMEN ? All i know is that paypal leaves me with something i will be legally prosecuted if seen using it. I am a legitimate citizen of the EU and Paypal will probablyleave me with 3 months jail ( paid 3 euros a day ) and a criminal record .Paypal never protected me even though i paid comission. *** Forum User and Reader I SUGGEST YOU DON'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE REPRESENTATIVE WILL ANSWER. This is the second time i fall victim of paypal's policies. after loosing 2000 $ from paypal's unprofessional tactics and humiliating methods, i suggest everyone never to use paypal again as you don't have to pay comissions from something that you are not insured or covered. moreover you personala data can fall into WRONG HANDS. I may be greek and poor and all that stuff you hear on news... But people and organizations thinking like paypal made this part of the world misserable.FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY NEVER USE PAYPAL AGAIN. IT DOESN'T PROTECT YOU ANYWAY. I will continue to update post until paypal finally rejects my dispute. just for my honour.
Paypal asked me to send a report from authorized nokia phone Dealer that sais that phone is fake. Went to Nokia and told me that if i do such a thing i will be considered as having in possession a product that violated Nokia trademarks and copyrights and it's up to them if i will be prosecuted or not under the country's or EU laws. In other words it's like being sold a stollen product without me knowing anything and instead of going to police paypal is asking me to go to the legitimate owner and ask him if it's his.
paypal has no way of knowing it the seller sent you that phone, or if maybe you already had it and are trying to extort a refund from the seller. this is a case of he said/she said.
And whats the problem with getting a letter from Nokia stating its a fake and faxing it to Paypal.
And no you wouldnt be prosecuted, unless you tried to sell it.

yesterday Paypal insisted on taking the immitation Nokia n8, a product that violates copyrights and trademarks to nokia Dealer. No response however about Paypal giving me a hand written statement that Paypal co takes the fool responsibility for the product sent to me so that i will not be prosecuted. Once again paypal doesn't care if product sent to me is violating international laws.Paypal does not want to protect me the buyer and doesn't want to protect companies that pay fortunes to be lefitimate under trademark and copyright protection policies. SO DO YOU THINK PAYPAL CARES ABOUT ME AND YOU? ABSOLUTELY NO. It's no big deal... all i am asking is a hand written statement that Paypal takes full responsibility of that item that was sent to me.... i am n human gentleman i will not do any expirements on my dignity. i am a legitimate citizen. i will not be prosecuted as a forgerer or electronic criminal JUST BECAUSE I PAY YOU TO PROTECT ME WITH MY COMISSIONS AND YOU DON'T. it's simple sent it to me and i will gladly hand over the phone to nokia.

Update 3 Paypal refuses to give me a certification that will protect me from beiing prosecuted for possesion of trademark and copyrights violating product.I payed PAYPAL to protect me and now company refuses any sort of protection and in addition sends " advisors " to make fun out of me. PAYPAL a TRUE MAFIA, already hold hostage people's money. and i'm not the only one. there are thousands
I am not able to understand why can't you just go to Nokia and get a certification from them that its a fake phone, just give them the details how you bought the phone and the seller sent you the fake Nokia phone. If they (nokia) want any profs from you just provide them the seller details from whom you have bought the phone and sign a declaration that in any mean you do not own this phone, Put the gun on the sellers shoulder and then press the trigger.
I am sure Nokia will not ask you how you got the phone if they ask you just provide them the details.
