Dinodirect dispute

Has anyone else filed a dispute against dinodirect?

They sent me an email trying to get me to clost the dispute and then they would ship it. Sounds like they are trying to stall me. I read the forum and everyone is unhappy with this company

I´ve also had problems with DinoDirect. This web is a SCAM! I ordered two products by separated. One of them on 25th November which they didn´t give. I opened a dispute on Paypal and i elevated to claim. They didn´t answer to Paypal and Paypal gave me the money back. I have other order of 29 th November and it hasn´t arrived yet!!. I´m going to open other dispute on Paypal!.

Well reading all the reviews from http://www.resellerratings.com/store/DinoDirect I would say stay AWAY. Hope you all get your refund and make sure to research places before you buy Smiley Wink

It appears they tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get you to drop the dispute.

 

They ignored all attempts to contact them for a week. When I finally filed a dispute they immediately responded to say that it was a 'popular item' and they hadn't yet FOUND ANY to ship me. But as soon as they did, they would 'ship as soon as possible'.  Next day they emailed to say they suddenly 'found some' and would ship as soon as I cancelled my dispute.  I again told them I wanted my money back. Again they ignore and then said they'd be glad to ship 'expedited' if I canceled my dispute. Nope, I want my money.  Apparently they told someone else (on forum) that they'd give her her money back as soon as she canceled her dispute!! 

 

I told them i'D cancel my dispute AS SOON AS i GOT MY MONEY!

Just got ANOTHER call from Dino Direct. After repeatedly telling them I don't want them to ship a product that they claim they didn't even have over the week-end in exchange for my withdrawing my dispute,  they asked me the same thing yet AGAIN !   When I told them I didn't want their shoddy product,  I wanted my MONEY BACK.  They then tried to blackmail me - 'Withdraw your complaint and we'll give you your money back!'     I told them when they gave me money back I'd withdraw my complaint !   We'll see ...   I suspect they'll call me again tomorrow and say the same thing.    -sigh-

Yay for Paypal !!

 

Dino Direct is obviously concerned with their poor rating!  After repeated attempts to get me to withdraw my dispute and THEN they would take action,  I told them that if I didn't get my money by today I would escalate my dispute to a CLAIM.  They refunded my money !!  I feel badly for those that did not pay with Paypal as DD is not even responding to their emails!  Some have been waiting weeks and months for refunds.

 

Though Paypal didn't have to do anything, apparently the threat that they could was all it took.  : )

Close one !  I really wondered if I'd ever see that money again.   Lesson learned.

I ordered a prom dress on March 13 for my daughters senior prom, You all know a girls senior prom is like her wedding day to them. Well they promised me for weeks It would be delivered before prom date April 16th 2011 then at last minute they cancel the order without me telling them to cancel it. They told me It couldn't be delivered in time so they canceled my order and did not refund my money when they canceled it that is crazy.I told them I paid for the dress I wanted it regardless If they could not deliver in time THIS WAS ON APRIL 5TH but they canceled it anyways ON THIS SAME DAY and still no money back so now I have a claim with paypal on this that since they canceled my order I would like my refund. And to top it off because of a tragic accident in my community the prom was put off until April 29th. Who knows maybe if this website Dino Direct was legit it would have been delivered in time of April 29th instead of April 16th If they had not lied to me that the dress was being shipped in 5 days from April 5TH WHEN I TALKED TO THEM LAST AND HAD NOT CLAIMED THEY CANCELED MY ORDER. IT HAS BEEN ONE LIE AFTER ANOTHER WITH THEM. SO THEY WERE GONNA KEEP MY MONEY AND CANCEL MY ORDER HOW CRAZY CAN THEY GET O BUT THEY WERE GONNA GIVE ME CREDIT TO MY ACCOUNT ON THERE WEBSITE YEA RIGHT WHY WOULD I WANT SOMETHING ELSE OFF THERE WEBSITE TO GET THE RUN AROUND AGAIN
