Link a new phone number as primary and remove the old one. Change Password. It may ask for a SMS security check when changing password so it's best you add a new number first as "Home" number, unchecking other options except Make Primary Phone Number and switch it to mobile number later when you have a new permanent mobile number to prevent locking yourself out of the account. Then, change your password.
Turn off One-Touch if you have it enabled:
Account Settings (gear icon) > Security > One-Touch
